Just a few thoughts…
There’s a growing group of businesses that are realizing that posting at a certain time of day gets them greater interaction whether it’s on their Social Media Sites, or on their website.
Answer to this question would be – Depends on what region of the world you want to reach.
Here in the United States, if your business is based on the East Coast, and you want to strategically target the whole United States, then you would choose to post content at 11:00 am or 12 noon and add an additional post at 9:00 or 10pm EST. Why these specific times? Realize that the West Coast is just getting situated at work/ or kids are off to school by 9am and most would be checking emails, or checking Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest along with other Social Media sites, thus giving you your greatest advantage to being “heard” online.
Now here’s the fun part. Posting at these times also expands your reach to people and businesses in Canada AND in the Southern Hemisphere, places like Mexico, Brazil, Columbia, Peru, ect…
A business based on the East Coast with the intent to reach Europe can post at 9 or 10pm. Europe is just waking up and getting going, so is Africa, thinking this way will help you customize your posting time to expand your reach to it’s fullest potential.
A business based on the West Coast who is interested in reaching Hong Kong, Tokyo or Sydney, Australia would most likely post at 5pm PST because those targeted audiences are just waking up and getting started.
